HYATT REGENCY KOLKATA, Kolkata – A Smart Stay in the City

When I arrived, the room was freezing, but after I raised a complaint, Ashish and Rehman quickly took care of it. The rooms are very big, neat, clean, and hygienic. The service was superb and very attentive, especially from Rehman. The location is beautiful but a bit far from the main city center, next to the largest soccer stadium in India. The dining experience was good, with a specially crafted Women's Healthy menu and popular breakfast options at Waterside Cafe. The hotel kept the dining area open 15 minutes past closing time to accommodate us. The pool area, room service, and facilities are all top-notch. The price was reasonable, but the hotel could use more tables to accommodate all guests.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hyatt Regency Kolkata. The rooms were beautifully decorated by the housekeeping team for our wedding, neat and clean, and had all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. The service was top-notch, especially with Abhijit, Soumodip, and Aishwarya providing exceptional assistance. The location, right next to Salt Lake Stadium, was convenient for my activities. The dining experience at Waterside Cafe and Guchhi was a highlight, offering a delicious variety of dishes. Overall, a fantastic experience with just a few minor issues to note.

My stay at the hotel was simply amazing! The rooms were in perfect condition, with all the amenities in the right place. The king-size bed was so comfortable, and the room had a TV screen, a small desk, and a tea and coffee kettle. It was brilliantly quiet, exactly what we needed. The staff was fantastic, from security at the entrance to the front office and all the way to my room. They were very helpful and keen on satisfying all our needs.

The hotel rooms are very big and quiet, facing the pool in the evening that looks awesome. My 5-day stay felt like a nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Special thanks to Azad, Wasim who cleaned my room and Aishwarya, the floor supervisor who took care of my room. However, the room smelled of cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room.

Staying in the Diplomatic Suite truly felt like being at home. The people were friendly and helpful, especially Anupam, my housekeeper, and Aishwarya, the floor supervisor. The care and attention given on short notice were outstanding. The room was equipped with a king-size bed, TV screen, desk, and tea and coffee kettle.

The hotel provides large rooms with wooden floors and great views, but some maintenance issues were present in the bathroom facilities. The service staff is well-trained and polite, although slightly slow at times. The location is fabulous, between the airport and the city, but a bit far from the city center. Dining in the waterside cafe exceeded expectations with a great food selection. Overall, a mixed experience with room maintenance concerns but excellent service and location.
